🔑 Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Executive, you will be the face of My Choice in your assigned territory, responsible for driving sales and expanding our market reach.
- Retail & Distribution Management:
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for assigned product categories and territories.
- Identify and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets (supermarkets, hypermarkets, local shops).
- Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and distributors, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Market Expansion:
- Conduct market visits to identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
- Ensure effective product placement, visibility, and merchandising in all retail locations.
- Focus on increasing the adoption of our premium and new product ranges (e.g., Kuttanadan Chemba Puttu Podi).
- Reporting & Communication:
- Provide timely sales reports, market feedback, and collection updates to the Area Sales Manager.
- Resolve dealer/customer issues and complaints efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on sales experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, preferably in food products, spices, or packaged goods.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field (Business Administration/Marketing preferred).
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in Malayalam and working proficiency in English.
- Skills:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with the Kerala/South India retail landscape and distribution channels.
- Must possess a two-wheeler and a valid driving license.
- Comfortable using digital tools for sales reporting and order booking (as My Choice is moving toward full digitalization by 2025).
